This film tells a grotesque story of image design. “Diring” is a mysterious term conceived by the main character, which becomes a “product” of unlimited possibilities. Everybody convinced that image is everything fights for it. Nobody knows what it is, it is only important how it will look like...
Yura shows up at an elite party – a smart sexy youth dragged here as a “promising face” by the manager of the agency Diana. Yura mentions, as a joke, his dealings with “diring” to the manager of another agency, Laimonas Uosis, who is concerned about the new product and image, and is kidnapped. Uosis is very interested in the yet unheard off “area”, “diring”. Diana tries to liberate her lover from the competitor’s hands. She wants to get Yura back. It comes out that there are numerous obstacles and all of them are virtual. When the outline of the new “image” becomes apparent, Yura gets bored with the game of “diring” he invented. He feels being exploited; he is not fascinated by the mythology of image making... |
