The parishes of Dieveniškės, Balengradas, Visaginas are the north eastern periphery of the Vilnius archbishopric and the catholic world. In that periphery there are three posts of endurance and faith, and their three privates, three deans Dominykas Valančiauskas, Martynas Sonys (rest eternal) and Vytautas Rapalis. Several other villages cluster around them, where several thousand of parishioners each Sunday are waiting for the priest in the hours of birth and death. Though they speak Lithuanian, Russian, Polish and Byelorussian, but profess the same faith and acknowledge the same Motherland.
