A gripping study of overwhelming melancholly that stoically avoids any kind of romanticism.

Two friends journey from a village to Kaliningrad, once celebrated as Könisberg, the birthplace of Kant. Wandering through the now desolate city, they pick up two russian girls. They spend three speechless days together, yearning for love; and those days pass by like an entire lifetime.
