Ron’s family fell apart. He lost his job. Ron spends his days at the club of his childhood friend, Adi. There he gambles in card games. It is spring. He meets Dina - an old friend of Adi. Readily they become close, start playing in pairs and move in together. One evening Ron loses his money, gets drunk and Adi’s bodyguards throw him out. Dina takes advantage of the turmoil and steals from Adi. She convinces Ron to run out of town. The two hide out in a fishing village.
It is autumn. Ron and Dina learn that they know nothing about one another. They are strangers who can’t so much as look into each other’s eyes much less tell each other the truth.
