The story of the whole generation of the Soviet period is told through the main character: his childhood spent in a village, true friendship, work in Soviet Klaipėda, thrilling eroticism and the fatal love - everything is so simple and so sorely real. "Waterhole" ("Duburys") is the film about the man who was broken by the Soviet gloom and whose life stayed unnoticed. This life story is divided into three parts: painful childhood experience, juvenescence, marked by tragic loss of the best friend and a short life of the adukt, ending without any support in the vacuity of the Soviet period.
