It's a prehistory of the legendary Lithuanian cinema hero Tadas Blinda.
Life of light-hearted, ordinary village kid Tadas is turned upside down by political intrigues that have shaken surroundings of the manor and caused unrest. Tadas has just reached the age of adulthood, and he has to say goodbye to childhood dreams and take responsibility not only for his own actions, but also for the lives of beloved people. In an attempt to understand his place in the cruel reality, Tadas discovers the values that are worth living and dying for. This gives rise to the legend of Tadas Blinda, the Leveller of the World.
