In 1993 famous Lithuanian writer Grigorijus Kanovicius moved to Israel. Director R. Silinis filmed Kanovicius just few weeks before his journey. G. Kanovicius visits his most important places and reflects on human existence. 
 

“Director realized that the most precious things he captured were writer’s thoughts that he expressed at this vital moment and that might never be repeated: nostalgia for childhood, adolescence and homeland. I never saw G. Kanovicius like I saw him now”, - wrote theatre and film critic, director of the Lithuanian Film Studios Julijonas Lozoraitis in 1995. He worked with G. Kanovicius for many years.
