Documentary "Cuckoos Children" by Director Inesa Kurklietytė was awarded the main prize at the Olympia Film Festival.

National premiere of the film "Cuckoos Children" took place at this year's Vilnius International Film Festival “Kino pavasaris”.

The latest film by director Inesa Kurklietytė tells the story of twelve abandoned children living in a remote homestead near the town of Šilutė. They are taken care of by a woman named Ona, who grew up as an orphan herself. Ona takes her foster children to visit their real mothers so that children would know their roots. Three colourful meetings after not seeing each other for several years. Do cuckoos recognize their children?

And at the European Meeting of Young People’s Audiovisual Creation – Camera Zizanio, two films received special mentions in different age categories. These films were created during the "Natural Film Days", which are organized by “Ramūno atelje” for a few years already.
