"Together For Ever", feature film directed by Lina Lužytė starts an exciting tour around the world. Modern woman's story filled with irony will be presented in prestigious festivals taking place in three different continents. First stop – Egypt, the birthplace of the Pharaohs.

Here the film screening will take place at the Cairo International Film Festival, which starts today. It is the oldest film event in the Middle East and the only film festival of the International Federation of Producers Associations (FIAPF) in Africa and the Middle East that has been awarded the "A" category.

"Premiere in this region is not only important, but also extremely intriguing. We are going there to meet the audience of different culture than the characters of the film. Such meetings are special, because sometimes the audience sees and feels more than the filmmakers are telling. Are the issues raised in the film familiar to them? What thoughts will Gabija's character evoke for the female viewers at the Cairo screening?" – the film director Lina Lužytė shared her thoughts before the meeting with the Egyptian audience.

Production of the film was partially funded by the Lithuanian Film Centre.

The film will open in Lithuanian theatres on 13 January, and you can see its trailer here https://youtu.be/R5pqsJ2tYz4
