Two Lithuanian Directors Awarded at Anapa Film Festival Kinoshok Lietuviškai »

On September 22, two films by Lithuanian directors were awarded at the end of the Open Festival for CIS and the Baltic States , Kinoshok (Anapa). Šarūnas Bartas won the Alexandr Knyazinski prize for the best director of photography (Seven Invisible Men). Director Ramūnas Grečius (White on Blue) was awarded the special prize Short–Shock „For creativeness and an imaginative realisation of the author‘s idea.”

Five Lithuanian films were screened at Kinoshok competition programme on September 11 – 22. The feature-length film programme included Seven Invisible Men directed by Šarūnas Bartas and A Land of Glass directed by Janina Lapinskaitė; the short film programme, Short–Shock, included White on Blue by Ramūnas Greičius and Nearby You by Algimantas Maceina; The Mystery of Women, a video film by Inesa Kurklietytė, was screened at the competition programme: Film without Film.
