Šarūnas Mikulskis studied at the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts in Lithuania. During his studies he directed two short videos. He spent 5 years working at the advertising agency DDB Vilnius. Censorship (2005) is his first short film (Karlovy Vary Film Festival, Forum of Independents, 2006)
