Documentary film "Dzukija's Bull" participates in the competition program at Yerevan (Armenia) International Film Festival

Documentary film "Dzukija's Bull" directed by Linas Mikuta these days is participating in the Golden Apricot International Film Festival in Yerevan, Armenia.  Lithuanian film became one of the 11 international films invited to participate in the Documentary competition program.

"It is great, and it is important to participate in such a prestigious and cozy festival, to meet face-to-face our audience, film professionals, film masters. It is important that the Lithuanian film was noticed and selected from numerous applications" - shared his impressions the filmmaker Linas Mikuta, who is currently visiting the festival in Yerevan, which is celebrating its decade.   

The "Golden Apricot" Annual Film Festival was established in 2004 in Yerevan, the capital of the Republic of Armenia. The festival is distinguished by its small size and cosines, but at the same time it is not losing international attention and respect.

The film, distributed by the studio "Monoklis" tells the story of the "Bull" - the true resident of Dzūkija. Jonas was given such nickname by the villagers due to the rumours about his incredible strength. The narrative led by the main character tells the story of people stuck in the world between degradation and holiness.
