The Animated Film "The Gypsy and the Dragon" Will Participate in the Film Festival Zlin (Czech Republic)

The animated film The Gypsy and the Dragon created by directors-animators Aurika and Algirdas Selenis in 2006 has been invited again to an international film festival.

The film has been included in the competition programme of the 46^th Film Festival Zlin, Czech Republic .

The festival will take place on May 28 – June 3 this year in Zlin, which is situated in the historical region of Moravia , the Zlin Land . This is among the largest film for children and youth festivals in the world. Feature, animated and documentary films for children and youth will be presented during the festival.

Marlene Jobert, Pierre Brice, Gina Lolobrigida, Ornela Muti, Krzysztof Zanussi, Michael York, Oleg Tabakov and others will be guests of the festival this year.

1`In 2005, Aurika and Algirdas Selenis had already participated in the competition programme of this festival with their film Egle the Queen of Grass-Snakes.

The festival in Zlin is the second international event, which the film The Gypsy and the Dragon has been invited to. Directors have been invited earlier to participate with this film in the famous animated film festival AniFest.
